Steam Jet Mill
The mill is upgraded from the conventional jet mill. Adopting unique sealing and cooling technology free from temperature rise for bearing, high-temperature steam is used as grinding medium. With a specially designed Laval nozzle, the material collides with each other at high speed, the ground material enters the forced turbine classifying area. Qualified fine powder is collected and the oversize falls into grinding zone for regrinding.
- Steam of working pressure 8-40 bar and temperature 230℃-360℃.
- Higher speed of steam results in higher kinetic energy.
- Lower viscosity of Steam than normal air, easy to achieve finer powder.
- Compared with conventional jet mill, higher energy efficiency, lower operating cost.
- Nano particle size is available.
